Impressive Win Over Keat Hong
St' Wilfred , 18 May 2005, (Botakz)- Kallang C.S boys when on to another challenge , this time they represent Kolam Ayer C.C in the Inter-Constituencies Soccer Tournament 2005. They took their deserved first win over Keat Hong C.C last night with impressive 1-3 victory over the team from North-West. It takes 10 minutes of play for Nasrullah to volley in past the Keat Hong custodian through a good lay out passes from the right flanks. Keat Hong then get their momentum, and with speed and aggressiveness the drew level just 5 minute before the intervals. 1-1 .
Second halves started with both team show good quality attacking soccer. Again mighty Kallang C.S shows their bit more better and well organized tactically and mentally . Early goals just after the interval, a swift move by Ariff on the left and goalkeeper blunder makes way for Naseer to tap in an open goal. The game got heat up after the goal as Keat Hong looking for equalizer. Their effort went vain with Samali organizing the back four very well. Soon, the killer blow came as Kallang brakes the off-side trap and Nasrullah had no problem doubled his goal for the night. Nasrullah said after the game," I love to play in this pitch and you can see more af me in game to come". Botakz added," The team play magnificently well , show what they really made of and have the correct attitude towards the game. Everybody play important role in the wins and we will stay as far as we can in this competition."

Kallang Punished

Clementi, May 15 (Botakz) - Kallang suffered another set-backs as they were defeated 1-2 to Bonjol Wanderers. Kallang defeats were seen in the opening minute of play when Maestro Nasrullah miss from the spot kick after Mulia were brought down in the earlier incidents. Then moment later lady luck were seen going away from them as a good move from the left to Musaidik with his effort went wide with just keeper to beat. Again after several attack this time from midfield breaks the off-side trap but only to see Musaidik shot tamely to the keeper. Then Kallang were punished as from a free-kick send directly to Bonjol striker to finished it off with leaves Kallang to re-organizes the back four. Then again attack from the midfield breaks open the Bonjol off-side wall, only to see Ariff ballooned away the most valuable equaliser with just keeper to beat. 0-1.
Second half again luck were not on the 'Bears' side as they miss several chances. But the Bonjol surprises them with a quick counter attact and make the chances count to take the lead 0-2. As usual the 'Bears' spirit always make suru they are capable of coming back, and they scored through the captain Bone to be back in the game. Last 10 min the 'Bears' threw everything out to levelled the game but Bonjol are just to experience with their defend , they sit back and hold on strongly till the final whistle.1-2
Botakz say after the game," The game was played with full commitment and consistency". and later admit, " You need luck to be on your side sometimes". He continues ," the league is still open ," and later warn every team," we will bounce back strongly in the second halves of the season and only consistency become champion".

Kallang's Defends Horror

Clementi, May 8 (Botakz) - Kallang defends was put to real test yesterday after a night out day before the game. Central Park F.C known as the 'Shark' was lucky enough not to be trashed by huge goal margin. Ball watching and custodian error make 'Sharks' take full of the advantage of the over-confidence and tired league leaders rear-guard, which boasted the best defensive records by finding the net five times. And lady luck was also on the 'Sharks' side as 3 of their goal was just by struck and luck. The game started perfectly with Musaidik open the score from the free-kick. But soon the nightmare begins as the 'Sharks' leveled the score with a chip that went in the far post of the 'Bear'. Then again letting the 'Sharks' away and with luck, a so called perfectly chipped went in the net doubled the keeper's nightmares. Kallang as usual, with patience built up soccer have no problem scoring, equalize through their captain Bone, with a good left-footed grounder shot pass the Shark custodian.
Then came the horror as the Shark went ahead 4-2, again by lacks of concentration over confidence of their week opponent by Kallang defends make easy way for the Shark to lead. The turn-over of the match was a goal that came last minute of the first halves by Nas to make it 4-3 half-time.

Second halves started brightly for Kallang and after strings of attack they pulled level this time by Man Of The Match , Mulia. And again after series of corners, Mighty Bear took the lead when Shark conceded an own goal after trying but failing to clear from the corner. With the lead the Bears still find way to keep up the scoring , and this time skillful and top striker Musaidik was brought down in the penalty box. Nas had no problem putting the cake on ice as Bears lead 4-6. Then again keeper's blunder from the goal kick let Shark in easy goal. Final score 5-6.
Kallang's coach said after match,'' the match was an easy win but with arrogant and underestimated your opponent you boy will be in deep troubled as match to come. Overcome your arrogant don't take thing too easy when in competitive game.Credit for Central Park F.C for taking their every chance counts. To Kallang warrior no doubt the best team in the league you guy will win the title this year, but remember every opponent are just good as we are. Only consistencies become champion." Botakz also add,'This is an important step on the way to the title, but it is still theoretically possible for it to escape us and we won't be relaxing until we are champions
As Kallang let in too many goal , they went to the second place in the league but with a game in hand , no problem for them to be back on top and finished 1st till the second halves of the season.

Mighty Kallang Roared Again

Clementi, May 1 (Botakz) - Mighty Kallang again show charismatic and patience stlye of play make hard for opponent to break through their defend as they maintain their defensive record in the tournament. The plan was to absorb the Outsiders attack and countered them when they are tired with spilt pass and quick run from the flanks. Star striker, Musaidik may finds himself unlucky to add his goal tally as he threw away 4 open goal opportunity . . As usual "Maestro" Nas always involved in every Kallang move, find himself to break through a clever pass from Wan to put the ball in the net . 1-0
Second Halves was the same tactics used in the first halves absorb and attack make Outsiders play a very aggresive game to stop all the running. The Outsider also had their chances only to see their direct free-kick hit the post. After series of battle in the midfield area Kallang prove to be too strong and a slight loss of concentration, makes Musaidik to flick pass for Mulia to half volley a looping ball pass the Outsiders Custodian . Final score 2-0. Good team work by Nas, Wan and Zaidi and not forgetting the well organized back four and we hope for a fast recovery for Arif (broken toe) .

Easy Win Puts Kallang Back On Top

Clementi, April 24 (Botakz) - Mighty Kallang played simple possession soccer to gain confidence in the passing and penetration move in the win over Football Crazy F.C. The objective was to pass the ball around, slow built-up play(patience)and make movement from the wide. First-halves was better as we tried keep possession and swift attack breaks the deadlockClever back-heeled by "mastreo" Nas lay uot to Musaidik to put the ball in the net. As usual , hadworking in pressuring the ball once again put Musaidik name in the score-sheet to make it 2-0. Third goal came directly from a perfectly through pass by Arif , leaving the Football Cazy defend stranded by quick split-run and lets the "Machine" Musaidik makes his second hat-trick in the competition. 3 - 0.
Second halve we again control the game with attack from left and right wing makes hard for the opponent.And after series of attack Kallang coach Faisal finds himself in good position to blast the ball in just upset to see his shot in the open goal went wide. Then back to business again attack from the right made easy space for Arif to put the goal pass the keeper. Again quick bulit up play finds Nas space in the middle to shot pass over out-of-position Footbal Crazy's Keeper. Then Zaidi complete the scoreline with well taken shot from the six yard box.The opponent always look like scoring when Kallang Boy was filled with over-confidence in their play and skill. Last 10 min of the game was a disaster for Kallang Defend but they stay focus until the final whistle to make their best defensive record in the tournament so far with just 4 goal conceded . Final Score 6 - 0

Winning Walkover

Yishun, April 17 (Botakz) - The game between Kallang C.S and Camelot Ranger was given a walkover as tiny Camelot did not turn up for the game. As mighty Kallang looks set to give their opponent a thrashing to stay on top of the table with goal difference, they we told that the "Tiny" Camelot came down with only 6 players. And so win for Kallang and 3 goal given by the organizer couldn't do much for them to stay on top of the table, losing goal difference to Blackjack.
Now the league are wide open as Bonjol Wanderers, the favourite we upset 0-4 by Footbal Crazy. Aces United show they r also contender as they beat Central Park 5-3. The Cosmos show classy act to trash Ak Fc 8-1 and Newton Heath make a narrow win 1-0 over Sin Ma ST.

I'm really annoyed comment make by one of the player i guess. let me frank with u guy even though some of u think i'm unfair.......if u really wanna play regularly...first come down for training session regularly...excused are for Hisham(HU) And Farhan(School)...the rest have to inform me 12hr in advance if cannot make it.....if u think it unfair to collect fee from player that dont play,
then make double effort to fight for places in the presence of Musaidik, Nasrullah, Mulia, Samali, Bone , Hisham, Farhan, Arif, Arep, Zaidi....look yourself in the mirror ,can u or are u like them? And again dont talk about fairness cus u dont understand well about it. if u understand bout fairness u dont make demorale comment and u dont need to hide ur real indentity. And again i have to say ...this time u help me out about the match fee...and if u think $5 is too much...dont smoke!!!!!! Dont think its a small issues ok...cus this will make other have second thought to be with us but again i repeat anything u can personaly talk to me or Bone(captain). And morever this is not a profesional club u can leave and come in as u like. But i have a long way plans ahead....

Musaidik Hat-trick Demolished O.C.B.C


Clementi, March 27 (Botakz) - In-form striker Musaidik made his scoring tally to 7 goal from 4 matches as again he proves, he is too hot to handle when he become the first player in Kallang history to score a hat-trick. But his effort will be doubtful if not for great team work and an unselfishness lay out by Nas to make his name in most valuable assist.
The game was played in a wet pitch after downpour in the morning.It took mighty Kallang now known as 'The Bear' 15 minute to settle through the wet pitch and a move from the left wing make Musaidik blast home his first goal. It was again 'The Bear' to scored , a through pass by Hisham finds Arif breaks the off-side trap and got no problem rounding off the O.C.B.C's keeper to put it 2-0. As now its look a one-way traffic for 'The Bear" as keeper Samhan stood still watching and enjoying the play. Nice built up send the ball to Nas whom got the chance to put his name in score sheet ,but with vision and unselfishness he laid squared the ball to Musaidik who is in much more better position to put it 3-0.And minute after the goal, again built up lay from the left-wing Ariff, make a cross met perfectly by Musaidik to volley home his hat-trick and "the Bear" 4th goal.Direct attacking play by 'The Bear' make it hard for the 'Banker' deffend, and some poor clearance make way for Farhan to try a long effort shot pass the keeper into the net. Half-time 5-0
Second halves was far more relax and possesion soccer. The objective of the second halve was to lay the ball to the wings, where Arif or Farid had to cross the ball in. We got some good built up play,one-two, only lacks of finishing keeps the score line still. Again built up and through ball from the midfield area make space for the "maestreo" Nas to put his name in the score sheet. After several substitution to rest the player , always hardworking , midfield dynamo Mulia make his name to put the final scored 7-0.
